For years, the only treatment for loose eyelid skin was either aggressive laser resurfacing or surgery itself. But while either of these two treatments provide amazing results, they do so at the cost of some degree of downtime and discomfort. And for many patients, this is simply not something that they can afford in their busy schedule. But now we are excited to offer an option with ZERO downtime and ZERO discomfort and, for 10 lucky participants, we will be offering a series of 5 ThermiSmooth treatments at NO COST whatsoever!
Even though we have seen a number of results from other Plastic Surgeons, we are evaluating our own settings through a White Paper trial. Each participant in this trial will undergo a series of 5 30-minute treatments (each 2-3 weeks apart). In preparation for your treatment, corneal eye shields will be placed to protect your eyes. During the treatment, skin around your eyes will be gently heated (think of it like a hot stone massage around your eyes) in a circular manner. Following treatment, your skin will most likely be red for about an hour or so but will then return to normal and final results are generally seen a few months after the first treatment as the skin tightens and the wrinkles regress. We encourage our patients to combine these treatments with BOTOX Cosmetic and a good medical skincare regimen, as well, to maximize long term results.
