SkinPen Microneedling
Meet your new favorite skin treatment! SkinPen® microneedling uses small needles to puncture your skin to create “micro-wounds” and stimulate a natural healing response. By encouraging your body’s own collagen and elastin production, SkinPen microneedling can tighten and smooth skin to restore a more radiant, youthful appearance.

Vivace RF Microneedling
Are you looking to get even more out of your microneedling? Vivace® is an FDA-cleared microneedling device that uses radiofrequency energy to help address more dramatic signs of aging in the face than was possible with previous non-surgical technology.
As we mentioned, traditional microneedling (shoutout to SkinPen!) restores a youthful-looking appearance by using tiny needles to create small injuries in the skin. As your skin heals itself it produces more collagen and elastin, thus restoring your skin’s strength, elasticity, and firmness. When paired with radiofrequency (RF) in the Vivace device, the microneedles also deliver heat to deeper layers of the skin, which further enhances the process of collagen regeneration for even more dramatic results.

SkinPen vs Vivace: What’s the difference?
SkinPen is beautifully effective and a wonderful corrective treatment for patients who wish to see clearer, more refined skin. For younger patients with pigment-based concerns or more surface-based texture issues, SkinPen is an ideal choice. Patients who are in their 40s and up may prefer Vivace because it targets epidermal (top layer) resurfacing as well as remodeling your skin’s underlying layers with RF for a more dramatic collagen boost. Both are safe for most skin tones including dark or tanned skin.
Upneeq®
There’s a reason for all the buzz about this new product—Upneeq® is the very first non-surgical treatment for lifting the upper eyelids. Upneeq is a prescription-only eye drop that activates the muscle in the upper eyelid to help temporarily open your eyes wider. The solution also reduces redness to help your eyes appear more bright, clear, and rested. Results are visible about 5-15 minutes after using the eye drops, and typically last about 6 hours.
While BOTOX can help open up the lower part of your eyes, Upneeq is the only non-surgical product that can help open up the upper part of the eye.
Upneeq is primarily used for two main reasons:
- To provide a short-term cosmetic improvement, helping eyes appear brighter and more refreshed.
- To correct Botox-related eyelid sagging, a temporary side effect that occurs in about 3% of patients.
If you are currently not considering eyelid surgery, but would like a subtle, short-term improvement in your eye appearance, then you may be a good candidate for Upneeq eye drops. You may also benefit from Upneeq if you are experiencing low-lying eyelids after Botox injections. This side effect will fade with time, but until then, Upneeq offers a quick and convenient improvement.
