Reducing Gynecomastia, Increasing Confidence

Why Choose BEAUTY by BUFORD for Denver Gynecomastia Surgery?

Buford, MD, FACS, PCEO, specializes in male breast reduction surgery, a safe and effective option for men who are self-conscious about their chests.

What to Expect from Gynecomastia Reduction

What is the Denver Gynecomastia Procedure Like?

The removal of fat, tissue, and excess skin caused by gynecomastia results in a contoured, firmer, and flatter chest. Dr. Buford uses VASER liposuction to effectively reduce fat accumulation and excess tissue in the male chest. Gynecomastia reduction can help restore your self-esteem and give you that "shirt-off" confidence you deserve.

In most cases, Dr. Buford can treat gynecomastia by removing excess fat and breast tissue using only VASER liposuction, a less-invasive technique that allows for precise chest sculpting with minimal post-operative swelling and bruising and virtually undetectable scars. In the following video, Dr. Buford performs VASER liposuction for male breast reduction on an actual patient. See his technique and the impressive results immediately after surgery.

By Your Side for Every Step

Gynecomastia Surgery Recovery

The recovery time following gynecomastia surgery depends on the extent of the procedure. Most patients can return to non-strenuous jobs and light activities within 1-2 weeks and resume strenuous exercise in 4-6 weeks. Swelling and bruising are normal side effects in the initial days of recovery. Wearing a compression garment helps reduce swelling and support your new chest contour. Dr. Buford provides personalized aftercare instructions and checks your healing at post-operative visits to ensure smooth healing and an optimal surgical outcome.

How Much Does Gynecomastia Surgery Cost in Denver?

At BEAUTY by BUFORD, the starting price for gynecomastia surgery in Denver typically ranges from $7,000 to $13,000. Your final cost depends on the amount of excess tissue being treated, whether liposuction, gland removal, or skin tightening is needed, anesthesia, facility fees, and the overall complexity of your chest contouring plan.

Why Gynecomastia Surgery Pricing Varies

Gynecomastia can look similar from the outside but come from different tissue beneath the skin. Some patients have mostly excess fat, while others have firm glandular tissue behind the nipple, stretched skin, or a combination of concerns. Dr. Buford offers both ultrasonic and power-assisted liposuction, with an added Renuvion skin-tightening treatment for patients who need it. This technique has a different cost than someone who needs direct gland removal, more detailed sculpting, or correction of a puffy nipple appearance.

What May Affect Your Final Cost

Certain parts of the plan may be flexible, but others are based on anatomy. If the concern is mostly fatty tissue, liposuction may create a flatter, more defined chest. If dense glandular tissue is present, that tissue usually needs to be removed directly to create a smoother result. Patients with loose skin, significant asymmetry, prior surgery, or major weight loss may need a more involved approach. Dr. Buford will explain what is optional, what is recommended, and what is necessary for your chest shape during consultation.

Patient Care, Safety, and Quality Results

The cost of gynecomastia surgery at BEAUTY by BUFORD reflects the planning and precision required to create a masculine, natural-looking chest contour. Patients are investing in a board-certified plastic surgeon, an accredited surgical setting, anesthesia care, careful tissue removal, chest sculpting, incision planning, and post-operative follow-up. The goal is not simply making the chest smaller. The shape has to look smooth, proportionate, and believable with your frame.

Budget pricing can be risky with gynecomastia surgery because under-treatment and over-treatment are both problems. Leaving glands behind can allow the chest to stay puffy, while aggressive removal can create dents, contour irregularities, or an unnatural look. Dr. Buford’s approach focuses on removing the right tissue in the right places while protecting the chest contour and long-term result.

Patient Financing Plans

BEAUTY by BUFORD offers patient financing options to help make gynecomastia surgery easier to plan for. Financing can allow qualified patients to divide the cost of surgery into monthly payments rather than paying the full amount upfront.

PatientFi, Alphaeon Credit, CareCredit, and Cherry Financing offer a simple application process and can help patients choose a payment structure that works with their budget. To explore financing for your gynecomastia, Apply Now.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Breast implants are not lifetime devices. The longer patients have them, the greater the chance they will develop complications, which may require more surgery. Breast implants have been associated with a cancer of the immune system called breast implant–associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). Some patients have died from BIA-ALCL. Patients have also reported a variety of systemic symptoms such as joint pain, muscle aches, confusion, chronic fatigue, autoimmune diseases, and others.

Natrelle® Breast Implants are for breast augmentation and revision surgery in women at least 22 years old for silicone-filled implants and women at least 18 years old for saline-filled implants.

You should not get breast implants if you currently have an active infection, untreated breast cancer or precancer, or are pregnant or nursing. Tell your doctor about any conditions you have, any medications you are taking, and any planned cancer treatments. Breast implantation is likely not a one-time surgery.

Having implants removed and not replaced may lead to permanent cosmetic changes of the breasts. Breast implants may affect breastfeeding. Gel implants may rupture without symptoms, so periodic imaging after surgery is recommended.

Key complications are reoperation, implant removal, implant rupture, implant deflation with saline-filled implants, and severe capsular contracture.

Talk to your doctor for more information.

The use of Natrelle® Breast Implants is restricted to licensed physicians who provide information to patients about the risks and benefits of breast implant surgery.
