Stop Wrinkles in Their Tracks

When it comes to fighting wrinkles, there’s always room in your arsenal. If you’re experiencing forehead wrinkles, glabellar creases, or crow’s feet, Dysport® is a fast-acting, effective solution. The latest, FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A injectable, Dysport works by stopping wrinkle-causing muscle movement in the upper face, resulting in a smooth, youthful appearance.

Face & Skin Self-Assessment

Before you meet with Dr. Buford for your consultation, consider filling out our face and skin self-assessment. By sharing how you see yourself, we can best evaluate your aesthetic goals and determine an appropriate treatment plan for you.

How it Works

Your face is the billboard for your emotions, and throughout your life, your facial muscles are constantly contracting and tightening to form your expressions. Unfortunately, this movement can cause wrinkles between the eyebrows, around the eyes, and on the forehead. Unlike dermal fillers, which work by adding a cushion of solution under the skin, botulinum toxins like Dysport and BOTOX® directly affect the behavior of the underlying facial muscles.

When injected in specific areas of your brow, Dysport interrupts the signal from the nerve to the muscles, which reduces the muscle’s ability to move. This temporarily stops wrinkle-causing muscle movement, causing the wrinkles to smooth out in the treatment area. Results should appear within two to three days and can last for up to four months.

BOTOX vs. Dysport: Which is Right for You?

Both BOTOX and Dysport work in the same way to temporarily “paralyze” muscle movement in a specific area to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Either treatment will provide comparable results, but the Dysport protein is slightly smaller, allowing it to offer results more quickly. One unit of BOTOX is roughly equivalent to two to three units of Dysport. To receive similar results, the amount of Dysport needed is slightly less expensive than BOTOX.

Dr. Buford is experienced in providing both Dysport and BOTOX injections. Because Dr. Buford is intimately familiar with facial structure, he performs all injections himself to ensure optimal results. Natrelle® Breast Implants
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Breast implants are not lifetime devices. The longer patients have them, the greater the chance they will develop complications, which may require more surgery. Breast implants have been associated with a cancer of the immune system called breast implant–associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). Some patients have died from BIA-ALCL. Patients have also reported a variety of systemic symptoms such as joint pain, muscle aches, confusion, chronic fatigue, autoimmune diseases, and others.

Natrelle® Breast Implants are for breast augmentation and revision surgery in women at least 22 years old for silicone-filled implants and women at least 18 years old for saline-filled implants.

You should not get breast implants if you currently have an active infection, untreated breast cancer or precancer, or are pregnant or nursing. Tell your doctor about any conditions you have, any medications you are taking, and any planned cancer treatments. Breast implantation is likely not a one-time surgery.

Having implants removed and not replaced may lead to permanent cosmetic changes of the breasts. Breast implants may affect breastfeeding. Gel implants may rupture without symptoms, so periodic imaging after surgery is recommended.

Key complications are reoperation, implant removal, implant rupture, implant deflation with saline-filled implants, and severe capsular contracture.

Talk to your doctor for more information.

The use of Natrelle® Breast Implants is restricted to licensed physicians who provide information to patients about the risks and benefits of breast implant surgery.
