Yet another study has documented positive health benefits associated with Omega-3 Fatty Acid Supplementation. The study specifically looked at the effects of daily supplementation on DNA telomere length which is a direct reflection of the aging process (the shorter the telomere, the more advanced the aging). The authors found that addition of Omega-3 Fatty Acids actually slowed down shortening of the telomeres as compared to those without this addition.
