Consultation

To get started, you’ll schedule a 30-minute consultation with our nurse Lauren (Lo) Hilton. During this appointment, we’ll discuss your medical history, target weight, and goals for treatment to determine if you’re a good candidate for Slim Shot.

Be sure to bring lab work completed within the last six months to your Slim Shot consultation, including but not limited to:

Pregnancy Test (if not on birth control)
CBC
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
TSH

Having your lab results, in addition to a list of medications or supplements you may be taking, will help speed up the process so we can get you started!

Your First Shot

After we’ve determined that you are a good fit for the Slim Shot program, we’ll book your next appointment. Because Slim Shot is administered through an injection, you’ll receive your first injection from a professional in our office to show you just how easily it is administered.

During this first appointment, we’ll also train you on how to give yourself the weekly shot, answer your questions, and provide you with your take home Slim Shot Kit. This kit contains everything you’ll need for at-home injections, including a 1 month supply of semaglutide with 4 pre-filled syringes, and an at home step-by-step guide.

At Home Injections

After you feel comfortable administering your Slim Shot injections to yourself, you’ll use one shot once a week, and meet with our team once a month for check-in appointments. Over the course of five months, we’ll gradually increase your dose to help you get the most out of your Slim Shot treatment while limiting overall side effects.

Combine with Other Treatments
